![]() ![]() After a little while I finally remembered what the app was called – Dragthing! then I remembered back into the days when I had a little app that sat on the side of my screen where I could access my commonly used files. It felt like I was spending as much time looking for the files as I was working on them. This morning I was working on lots files from all over the place on my computer. This is how I stumbled across Tab Launcher. Your files stay exactly where they are but this is an easy way to access them. The great thing is you don’t have to actually move the files into tab launcher. It’s like a manilla folder where you can put commonly used files. Quotes or other characters can cause this to fail.Tab Launcher is a great little app that sits on the side or top of your screen. What is used to generate your registration number. If you do not have both the wine name and vineyard filled out in the spreadsheet, Wine Chronicle has problems linking the data. This is why you have to specify the import file several times. When Wine Chronicle imports the data it has to build links between the different pieces of information. The likely problem is you have not included both a wine and vineyard name. Make sure you have filled out as many columns as possible. I'm having trouble importing from the provided Microsoft Excel file. We also don't want to just update the program, we want to make it the best mobile wine database possible. In order to support the new platforms we need to re-write Wine Chronicle in a newer version of FileMaker Pro.I wouldn't want to have to re-enter all of my data, neither will you. We want to make it as easy as possible to sync the data between a computer and handheld device. Currently you have your wine collection stored on your desktop/laptop version of Wine Chronicle. The database engine that Wine Chronicle uses, FileMaker Pro, does not yet support the platform.The iPad was just released and it isn't available globally yet - so I haven't been able to purchase one yet.There are a few things stopping us from supporting them right now.
